Description

This is a small implementation of the boids artificial life algorithm that I made in Godot for fun.

Instructions

  • Click near the boids to have them follow your cursor.
    • The cursor counts as 10 boids
  • Adjust the strength of each of the three forces with the UI to modify their behaviour 

Planned features

  • Boids avoid the edges of the screen
  • Better boid creation
    • Create boids with custom starting direction
    • Boid deletion and modification
  • Hamburger menu to hide UI
  • More sliders to control boid properties
  • Prettify
